The Community & Home Support Service is currently recruiting Personal Support Assistants

Personal Support Assistants help Service Users with:

  • Accessing local amenities
  • Shopping
  • Preparing meals
  • Light gardening
  • Light house work
  • Pet walking
  • Domestic duties
  • Attending GP and hospital appointments
  • Help keep Service Users active
  • Stay in touch with friends and family
  • Personal care tasks
  • Maintaining Service Users independence
  • Ensuring Service Users have medication at the right time
  • Keeping Service Users company

All our Personal Support Assistants are provided with all the necessary training before going out into the community.

Personal Support Assistants are paid for any training they participate in. All uniforms, gloves, aprons, hand sanitisers and a works mobiles phone will be provided free of charge.
