The Carers’ Support Service offers a range of training to help you cope with and manage your caring role.
In September, October and December – We are hosting the popular course Understanding Dementia – A four session course to learn what it means to have Dementia – What Dementia is – How it affects people, How we can build better relationships with loved ones with Dementia through this understanding.
November 3rd and 4th First Aid for Carers 2 part course 10am to 12 each day
You are also able to access training provided by Focus Independent Adult Social work absolutely free.

These free workshops are designed with carers in mind – so you can develop a good understanding of dementia and gain useful information to benefit you and the person you care for.
